Key Personnel

When Shan-Tai Yeh left CDOT and established the firm in 1999, he also brought a relation with many other key personnel. The
principals of the firm
Shan-Tai Yeh,
Rick Andrew and
Roger Pihl all worked together on CDOT’s Glenwood Canyon project. In addition to the principals, several of our
key personnel,
Bob LaForce,
Paul Macklin, and
Ben Arndt, also worked on the project and/or worked with Shan-Tai at CDOT. Many of Yeh's employees worked for CDOT, giving the firm over 100 years of combined experience as employees of CDOT.
Currently Yeh and Associates employs over 60 professionals and technicians with extensive experience in
geologic,
geotechnical and
pavement engineering and environmental fields. Our group of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, environmental scientists and material technicians have provided professional services on projects ranging from several thousand dollars to 130 million dollars in construction budget.
The firm has experienced steady overall growth and little turnover of professional, technical, and support personnel. Highly qualified personnel have been added to support growth and continue building the firm’s excellent reputation as an employer. Additional key personnel include,
Tom Allen,
Richard Johnson and
Jere Strickland. Our staff of
construction inspectors and
materials testers has also grown and many of these personnel also have CDOT experience.
Yeh’s strengths lie in the quality, diversity and technical experience of its key personnel and staff, and in the personal involvement of the principals. Yeh and Associates maintains its exceptional reputation in the industry by providing high quality technical expertise while meeting difficult work schedules and budgetary goals.
