Construction Observation and Testing

One of the keys to a successful construction project is good field control of construction materials through construction inspection and materials testing. Yeh’s staff of field-testing technicians and inspectors provides quality control/quality assurance materials sampling and testing for projects of varying size and complexity. Our technicians are trained and certified to provide a full range of field material testing services, including nuclear testing for soil density/moisture, pavement density control, asphalt content, and concrete design compliance.

Yeh encourages and continually sends its technicians for training and certifications. Our field technicians and inspectors have varying amounts of Western Alliance for Quality Transportation Construction (WAQTC), American Concrete Institute (ACI), Colorado Asphalt Producers Association (CAPA), Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and National Institute for Certifying Engineering Technologies (NICET) certifications.

Yeh and Associates is highly experienced in working on construction projects in difficult terrain, remote locations, and sensitive environments. Our on-site personnel are cross-trained with knowledge of construction specifications, safety, documentation, protection of utilities, and quality control. We have personnel with specialized experience in blasting, environmental preservation, and protection of existing adjacent structures.
